The "solo founder with specialist builder" row represents the fastest cash deployment path: 5.9 weeks, 8 features, 68% on schedule. The specialist builder contributes both speed (they have done this before) and scope enforcement (they resist scope creep because they have seen the consequences).
The team size data shows a counterintuitive pattern: teams of 3 to 4 are slower than 2 person co founder teams, and teams of 8 or more are substantially slower than any smaller configuration. The fastest quartile (under 6 weeks to first deploy) outperforms the slowest quartile (over 18 weeks) by 2.6x on PMF rate and 2.4x on month 12 MRR. This is the strongest data argument against extended development timelines.
The mechanism is the feedback loop column. Companies in the fastest quartile complete their first customer feedback loop at 6.2 weeks after starting development.
