Next.js generates static listing pages at build time for maximum SEO performance, with incremental static regeneration updating pages when listing data changes. Each listing page includes JSON LD structured data (LocalBusiness schema) that helps Google display rich results. PostgreSQL stores listings, reviews, categories, and user accounts with full text search indexes and PostGIS for geographic queries. The map integration uses Google Maps or Mapbox for interactive map views with marker clustering. The claim flow sends a verification code to the business phone or email on file, then grants editing access to the verified owner. Stripe handles payments for featured placement upgrades. A sitemap generator creates per category sitemaps to help search engines discover all listing pages.
